The origin of Hartway Motors dates back to the era of the Great Depression. Frank Payjack started Payjack Motors across the street from the current location in 1932. The post war boom of the late 40's found Franks small facility cramped, so he moved the dealership to its current location: a state of the art, 8 bay facility, in 1950. With two son in laws involved, Frank retired in 1965. Jack Botsford and Chuck Hartway assumed ownership until 1982, when Botsford sold his share to Hartway.
The new millennium finds the third generation managing the dealership. Lisa Hartway-Enderby is the President and Dealer Principal, Bridget Hartway-DiCureia is the Vice President and Office Manager, and Richard Hartway is the Secretary Treasurer and Parts Manager
